Do you like to be on the cutting edge of technology? We’re looking for a few innovative Newsela users to join us for a special preview of Everett.
What is Everett? It’s a new, unreleased AI-powered tool that uses natural language processing (NLP) to help students improve their writing through instant, meaningful feedback.Â
And we want you to be one of the first to try it!Â
Join Newsela Co-Founder Dan Cogan-Drew, Director of Product Management Jamey Heit, and our team for this hands-on workshop. Bring your laptop so you can log into your Newsela account and test drive Everett and all its features. The workshop site is within walking distance from the conference and, if you need even more incentive, we’ll have snacks!
You don’t want to miss your chance to be at the forefront of revolutionized writing instruction. But space is limited, so save your seat today.
Dan has 20+ years of professional experience in working towards a more perfect union of teaching, learning, and technology. Before Newsela, Dan was the founding director of digital learning at Achievement First Public Charter Schools, where he spearheaded the integration of digital learning technologies across the network.
Jamey brings two decades of teaching experience in the humanities to his work on AI writing support technologies. He helped build the technology that powers Everett. He's published and presented his work around the world. Jamey is a lifelong learner who is passionate about helping students learn to write.
